Happy Thanksgiving!
If you don’t know about the Black Panther Peoples Free Food Program your not as woke as you think. Feeding the poor and underprivileged was a very important part of Black Panther Social Programs and the Free Food Program and the Free School Breakfast Program: feeding kids hot breakfast before school, was co-opted by America.
At Bissel Gardens, we have an Allotment Garden for folks that want to “farm” their own 8X4 bed, but in the Propagation Area, gardeners, especially veterans, grow food and share in everyone’s bounty in a true “Community Garden”. Just in time for Thanksgiving, we’ve been harvesting the last of the summer Collard Greens. I’m making a big pot! Enjoy the day. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy
