Friends of VCP’s March 2013 Enewsletter

Hi Friend,

What an exciting February it was for the Friends of Van Cortlandt Park.  We led several hikes for some brave folks on the beautiful snow covered trails of the Park; we hosted a successful Project Learning Tree Facilitator training workshop; we met many new folks at the 19th Annual Bronx Parks Speak Up.

The Friends of Van Cortlandt Park enjoyed our own 15 minutes of fame when we were featured in a recent New York Times article New York Parks in Less Affluent Areas Lack Big Gifts. We are excited to see what March brings.

Below I have highlighted just a few of the upcoming events.  Please visit the Events Page of our website for a full listing of spring events.

See you in the Park!
