Fierce talent, sparkling enthusiasm, dynamic energy: The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is one of the world’s leading children’s choruses, known for celebrating the diversity of its members and community. This event’s all-Latin program explores repertoire from the group’s upcoming journey to the Dominican Republic as part of their project “Uno a Uno,” a transnational effort to unite the countries’ children as a first step in building a community of diverse economic and social backgrounds through music. Come sing with these talented music ambassadors as they prepare for their new adventure!

Experience the magic of ensemble singing by attending one of Carnegie Hall’s Community Sings—designed for all ages, no experience necessary. You’ll learn what it takes to be a member of these dynamic groups and experience the power of singing for yourself.
